Job summary

Cpl Group in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Social Care Worker to join a respite service supporting autistic adults with complex needs. The role involves delivering person-centred supports in line with individual care plans and promoting independence, dignity and community participation.

This permanent, full-time position offers 39 hours per week with a salary range of €38,918–€45,420. The successful candidate will have a QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care (or equivalent) and CORU registration

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or equivalent.
• Eligibility for CORU registration as Social Care Worker.
• Alternative degree in Social Work/Psychology with 2+ years in Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals using a person-centred approach.
• Support daily living activities including personal care and routines.
• Promote independence, rights and inclusion for individuals supported.
• Contribute to development of care plans and PCPs.
• Assist individuals to engage in community activities and build relationships.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
