Autism A Chara is seeking a Support Worker to work in a residential setting in Ashford, Co. Wicklow.

The role involves providing person-centred support to people with complex needs, assisting with daily living activities, and helping participants engage with their community. Essential criteria include a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification, a full Irish driving licence, and the ability to work on a rota including evenings, weekends, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• A QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification is essential.
• Passion for providing person-centred support.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and night shifts.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence (manual) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to people with complex needs.
• Assist with daily living activities and routines including personal care.
• Support engagement in the community and learning new skills.
• Assist with programme planning and person-centred plans.
