Vickerstock, in partnership with a leading construction contractor, is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Dublin-based commercial team. The role blends site work with office time, offering a salary of €50,000–€55,000 plus a €8,500 vehicle allowance.

You will support senior QS and project surveyors, prepare valuations, review variations, and assist with subcontractor procurement. Hybrid work is available after probation, with a clear path to a Project Surveyor.

Qualificações

• 2+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or similar role within construction.
• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• An understanding of construction contracts, valuations, variations and subcontractor payments.

Responsabilidades

• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Surveyors with commercial management of live construction projects.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of interim valuations and payment applications.
• Review and assess variations, contractual changes and additional works.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, package administration and payment assessments.
• Monitor project costs, maintain accurate commercial records and support cost reporting.
• Carrying out measurements and valuations across various construction packages.
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and the wider commercial department to support delivery of projects.
• Attend site and project meetings, gaining exposure to all stages of the post-contract commercial process.
