Job summary

Greystar seeks a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Salary starts at €35,000–€38,000 with potential on-site bonus programs based on experience.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, turnovers, preventative maintenance, contractor coordination, and safety compliance. On-call availability is required to address emergencies and maintain high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance in a domestic residential environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain risk assessments and preventative maintenance systems.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and manage vendors.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and completes work orders and performs routine upkeep on the property.
• Oversees turnover process and coordinates inspections, vendors and supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness standards reflecting Greystar quality.
• Inspects work and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and tools; manages budgets.
• Carries out preventative maintenance plans (PPM).
• Coordinates contractors and ensures RAMS and permits are in place.
• Ensures annual insurance/qualification checks; performs PAT testing.
