An opportunity to take ownership of a significant residential investment programme and help shape the future of a growing asset management function.
Eos Talent is partnering with an established and growing organisation in the residential property sector to recruit a Planned Works & Investment Manager into a newly created position.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation. With an experienced and highly regarded leadership team driving significant growth, investment and change, there is a real focus on strengthening technical expertise, developing long-term asset strategies and building a high-performing Asset Management function.
This is not simply a role focused on delivering planned maintenance programmes. It is an opportunity to take ownership of a substantial investment budget, influence how investment decisions are made and play an important part in shaping how a residential property portfolio is managed and improved over the long term.
Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, procurement and delivery of an annual planned investment programme of approximately €3–4 million, with scope for this to grow.
You will combine strategic thinking with practical project management, using property condition data, lifecycle information and technical assessments to identify investment priorities and deliver programmes from initial scoping through to completion.
Alongside managing the annual programme, you will contribute to the development of longer-term investment strategies, helping to shape five-year and 30-year asset investment plans.
As this is a newly created position, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, introduce improvements and work closely with an ambitious leadership team committed to developing a progressive and effective Asset Management function.
We are interested in speaking with experienced professionals who combine strong residential project delivery experience with commercial awareness, technical understanding and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience within residential property management, housing, property development, construction project management or consultancy would be particularly relevant.
Previous experience in the social housing sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
What makes this role particularly attractive is the opportunity to join at an important stage in the development of the Asset Management function.
You will not simply be inheriting an established programme and maintaining the status quo. You will have the scope to contribute ideas, introduce improvements and influence how investment is planned and delivered.
