Lumen Search is seeking an Assistant Development Manager / Project Manager to support large-scale housing schemes in Dublin. You will work with the Development Director and delivery team across planning, design coordination, construction oversight and handover.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years' experience in a project management, engineering, or consultancy role within residential construction.
• Experience working on housing or apartment developments.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to review drawings and coordinate design teams.
• Familiarity with Irish planning, Building Regulations, and BCAR requirements.
• Commercially aware with exposure to cost reporting and procurement processes.
• Organised, proactive, and keen to progress within a developer environment.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing residential projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Support coordination between design, commercial, and construction teams.
• Contribute to programme monitoring and milestone tracking.
• Assist in managing key deliverables across design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants to ensure timely delivery of information.
• Review drawings and technical submissions for compliance and buildability.

Role Overview

A well-established residential developer is seeking an Assistant Development Manager / Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale housing schemes in Dublin.

This role is ideal for someone progressing from an Assistant Project Manager (consultancy or main contractor background) or a technically strong Engineer looking to transition into a developer-side position.

You will work closely with the Development Director and wider delivery team, gaining exposure across the full development lifecycle, from planning and design coordination through to construction oversight and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Development Support
