Job summary

Deutsche Bahn is seeking a site-based Civil Engineer/Construction Supervisor to provide on-site supervision during project delivery across infrastructure and rail projects. You will monitor activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, specs, quality standards, and regulations.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus experience in construction supervision, site engineering, or project delivery within infrastructure or rail.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience with safety management within construction environments.
• Familiarity and experience with NEC contracts.
• Experience of working in operational railway environments/possessions is desirable.
• Relevant HSE training or site safety certifications are beneficial but can be obtained following discussion with the employer.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution is advantageous, but not a must.

Responsibilities

• Participate in site meetings and provide technical advice to project stakeholders.
• Support the resolution of construction and technical issues during project execution.
