Job summary

Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting in Ireland seeks an experienced Design Management professional to lead multidisciplinary design delivery on major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate interfaces, oversee design program progress and ensure compliance with client requirements and standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams, manage risk and stakeholders, and contribute to procurement, construction and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design Management, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience managing multidisciplinary design delivery, design program, deliverables and change management on infrastructure, transportation, rail, utilities, or major civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of design management processes, requirements management and design assurance/approvals across the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models.
• Strong programme, risk, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and interfaces within complex projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Chartered status or membership of a relevant professional institution is advantageous.
