Deutsche Bahn's DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead infrastructure and construction projects in Dublin, Ireland. The role focuses on delivering on schedule, budget and quality while coordinating between clients, contractors and project teams.

The successful candidate will oversee governance, reporting and risk management, and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements. Rail sector experience and professional certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, commercial management, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
  • Professional certification or chartered status is advantageous (e.g., PMP, APM, ICE, CIOB, or equivalent).
  • Experience in rail systems/infrastructure delivery experience is desirable
  • Relevant HSE and construction safety training is advantageous; any required project-specific training can be obtained following discussion with the employer.
