Carton House, Ireland, is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. You will take bookings for bedrooms, maximise occupancy and revenue, and upsell hotel facilities while delivering exceptional guest service.

Experience in reservations at a 4/5* property, knowledge of Opera, and strong communication skills are essential. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays apply in a dynamic, five-star environment at Carton House.

• Previous Reservations experience within a 4/5* property.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, Bank Holidays, early shifts and evening shifts.
• Working knowledge of Opera.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Results driven with a strong personality and the natural ability to build rapport with people.
• Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.

Responsabilidades

• Take bookings for all bedrooms, as per the Carton House standards.
• Ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue.
• Upsell all hotel facilities at every opportunity.
• Accurately input all guests requests into the hotel booking system.
• Assist the client with any special requests.
• Ensure all correspondence is answered, recorded and filed accurately.
• Identify all sales opportunities and effectively convert into bookings.
• Consult with the Reservations Manager/Director of Revenue in respect of group and agency bookings.
