Job summary

Elgin is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activity across major renewable energy projects in Dublin or London. This permanent role covers competitive tenders, supplier engagement, contract negotiations and handover to project delivery teams, ensuring commercial robustness and alignment with delivery programmes.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Development, Commercial, Legal and Finance, manage end-to-end tenders for EPC, ICP and BESS supply, build strategic supplier

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Engineering, Energy, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Significant procurement, supply chain or commercial management experience in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Experience leading competitive tenders and negotiating high-value EPC/ICP contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and contracting strategies for assigned projects, aligning with objectives and governance.
• Lead end-to-end tender processes for EPC, ICP, BESS supply and related services.
• Coordinate input from Engineering, Development, Commercial, Legal and Finance to support procurement decisions.
• Lead negotiations of complex EPC, ICP and BESS supply agreements, focusing on risk, program and payment profiles.
• Produce procurement status reports, tender recommendations and papers for project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with tier-1 contractors through updates and workshops.
• Support contract implementation and handover to project delivery teams, resolving procurement queries.
• Develop supply chain strategies, category roadmaps and sourcing options for key tech categories (modules, inverters, BESS, transformers).
• Monitor supplier capability, capacity, delivery times, price trends and geopolitical risks.
• Provide procurement inputs to business cases and financial models including capex and opex assumptions.
