Job summary

Elgin, a fully integrated utility-scale solar and storage IPP with a presence in Dublin and London, seeks a 12-month Maternity Leave Procurement & Supply Chain Manager. You will lead procurement planning, contract strategies, and end-to-end tenders for EPC, ICP, and equipment supply across UK, Ireland, Europe.

Reporting to senior stakeholders, you will coordinate with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams, manage supplier relationships, and ensure governance, reporting and handovers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Construction, or related field.
• Significant experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial management within renewable IPP or infrastructure.
• Experience procuring construction services and major equipment for utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and grid infrastructure.
• Experience leading competitive tenders and complex EPC/ICP contracts.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy contract structures and risk.
• Ability to translate market data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and lead across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and contracting strategies for projects.
• Manage end-to-end tender processes for EPC, ICP, equipment supply and services.
• Coordinate input from Engineering, Legal, Finance to support procurement decisions.
• Lead or support negotiations of EPC, ICP and equipment supply agreements.
• Develop supply chain strategies and category roadmaps for key tech.
• Monitor supplier capacity, costs, and geopolitical risks.
• Build relationships with tier-1 contractors and suppliers.
• Provide procurement inputs to business cases and financial models.
• Produce procurement status reports and market outlooks.
• Support contract handover to project delivery teams.
• Mentor Procurement Managers and maintain governance.
• Maintain procurement records and governance documentation.
• Undertake supplier, factory and site visits across UK, Ireland and Europe.
