Job summary

Elgin Energy is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager for a 12-month fixed-term role based in Dublin or London. The role combines project procurement delivery with strategic supply chain management to support active tenders, negotiations and supplier engagement.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external contractors across solar PV, BESS and grid connection infrastructure, ensuring governance, reporting and smooth handovers during the maternity leave period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, Commercial Management or related field.
• Significant experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial management within renewable IPP, energy, infrastructure or similar capital projects.
• Experience procuring construction services and/or major equipment for utility-scale solar PV, BESS and grid connection infrastructure.
• Experience leading competitive tenders and negotiating complex, high-value EPC, ICP, construction or equipment supply agreements.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy contract structures, project delivery interfaces, supply chain dynamics and key commercial risk areas.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work across disciplines and engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and contracting strategies for assigned projects, aligning with objectives, delivery programmes, technical requirements and governance.
• Manage end-to-end tender processes for EPC, ICP, equipment supply and construction services, including market engagement, documentation, bid clarification and evaluation.
• Coordinate input from Engineering, Construction, Development, Commercial, Legal and Finance to support timely procurement decisions.
• Lead or support negotiations of complex EPC, ICP and equipment supply agreements with focus on bankability, risk allocation and payment profiles.
• Develop and maintain supply chain strategies, roadmaps and sourcing options for key categories such as modules, inverters, mounting structures and BESS.
