Job summary

Elgin Energy is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join the team in Dublin or London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will provide hands-on support to the procurement team, lead end-to-end tender processes for EPC, ICP, and equipment supply, and coordinate with engineering, development, legal and finance to ensure timely, well-governed decisions.

The role covers supplier engagement across utility-scale solar PV, battery storage and grid connections, with travel to supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Construction, or related field.
• Significant procurement, supply chain or commercial management experience.
• Experience procuring construction services and major equipment for utility-scale assets.
• Experience leading competitive tenders and negotiating EPC/ICP agreements.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy contract structures and risks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and contracting strategies for projects.
• Manage end-to-end tenders for EPC, ICP, equipment supply and services.
• Coordinate input across Engineering, Development, Legal and Finance.
• Lead or support negotiations of high-value EPC, ICP and equipment contracts.
• Develop supply chain strategies and category roadmaps for key technologies.
• Monitor supplier capability, capacity, lead times and price trends.
• Build relationships with tier-1 contractors and suppliers.
• Provide procurement inputs to business cases and financial models.
• Produce procurement status reports and market outlooks.
• Support contract handover to project delivery and governance.
• Mentor Procurement Managers and maintain governance records.
• Undertake supplier, factory and site visits across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
