Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a U.S. law firm to recruit a Litigation Paralegal based in Ireland for a fully remote role. The position supports civil litigation from intake to trial prep, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and coordinating proceedings with attorneys and clients across time zones.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in a paralegal or attorney role, two years in U.S. litigation, top drafting skills, and proficiency with case management tools and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
• At least two years of experience working as a litigation paralegal for a law firm in the United States.
• Strong hands-on experience with U.S. civil litigation procedures and case management.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, subpoenas, and litigation correspondence.
• Extensive experience managing discovery and document production.
• Experience preparing cases for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Familiarity with state and/or federal court filing systems and procedural requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with active civil litigation matters through trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition materials, and case summaries.
• Manage discovery processes including collection, review, organization and production.
• Assist with interrogatories and related responses and documentation.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and witnesses.
• Track deadlines, court milestones, and discovery schedules.
• Prepare and submit court filings using electronic filing systems.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital case files and use case management software.
