Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Proposals and Contracts Manager to be home based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Romania, or Spain. You will own proposal and contract management, negotiate with clients, and develop standards tailored to each client.

You will collaborate with SMEs and internal teams to deliver high-quality proposals on time. The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a matrix environment, often outside standard hours to meet

Qualifications

• Experience in proposals or contracts in CRO or life sciences environment.
• Early Phase experience preferred.
• Finance experience related to proposals or contracting.
• Understanding of clinical study operations across regions.
• Proposals and contract management knowledge with pricing data systems (Salesforce).
• Knowledge of client contract processes, accounts and reporting.
• Previous proposal development experience a plus.
• Multinational/multicultural company experience a plus.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns the RFP process from receipt to delivery.
• Lead internal and client meetings and negotiate with minimal support.
• Coordinate SMEs and budgets for proposals.
• Prepare, modify proposals and budgets with SME input.
• Identify and mitigate risks to completion.
• Develop contract standards and negotiate terms.
• Lead client discussions and finalise contracts.
• Draft Parexel templates and ensure alignment with client specs.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to target signature date.
