Job summary

Gravitas Group seeks an Engineering Manager – Platform & DevOps to lead a greenfield Platform/DevOps initiative across Europe. You will balance coding, architecture design and team growth while reporting to the Head of Engineering.

You’ll own CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability and developer experience, driving security, NFRs and scalable reliability for enterprise-grade projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience, with platform/infrastructure focus.
• Hands-on with .NET Core and Angular; strong cloud knowledge (AWS).
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and scalable systems.
• Proven leadership, hiring, performance management in startup/scale-up.
• Security-first mindset and strong NFR advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring and build the Platform/DevOps team end-to-end.
• Architect and deliver core platform services and tooling.
• Own cloud design on AWS, security, observability, and reliability.
• Drive platform standards, deployment patterns, and incident response.
• Partner with product teams to translate priorities into platform roadmap.
