Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Performance Video Editor (Meta DTC Ads) to craft high‑impact short‑form ads for Meta platforms. This remote, full‑time role (independent contractor) reports to the VP of Growth and focuses on data-informed creative output for a wellness brand serving health-conscious consumers.

You will edit content ranging from UGC to AI-enhanced videos, ensuring precise captions and engaging storytelling while collaborating with the growth team and leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating hands-on experience creating and editing direct‑to‑consumer paid social ads.
• Strong storytelling to identify hooks, control pacing, and craft persuasive cuts.
• Attention to detail in captions, scripts, and consistency across assets.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues via Slack and review on-screen captions.
• Experience with AI-powered production tools and video assets.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-performing short-form video ads for Meta campaigns (UGC, AI voiceover, AI animation).
• Transform scripts, raw footage, and assets into compelling ads with hooks, pacing, and music/sound design.
• Create and refine concepts that capture attention and drive direct-to-consumer acquisition.
• Generate AI voiceovers and AI-generated scenes when needed to enhance quality.
• Ensure captions match scripts with high accuracy and consistency.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership to improve future outputs.
• Monitor ad performance and inform future editing decisions based on campaign data.
• Manage projects independently after onboarding, using ClickUp and meeting deadlines.
• Develop repeatable editing practices and explore AI video tools to grow in-house capabilities.
• Produce approximately six videos per month depending on format and complexity.
