Job summary

RECRUITERS is seeking an experienced claims handler for two portfolios, liability and broker claims. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the option to work part‑time or full‑time depending on the right candidate.

You will manage end‑to‑end claims, liaise with IRB/ARB procedures, and support brokers and clients with a proactive, independent approach. The position emphasises autonomy, professional communication, and delivering accurate reserve management and timely settlements, while

Qualifications

• CIP qualification confirmed with extensive liability, motor and EL/PL injury claims experience.
• Solid understanding of the full claims process and IRB/ARB procedures.
• Ability to work independently with flexible remote hours.
• Experience communicating with brokers, insurers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Own two portfolios: liability and broker claims, managing end‑to‑end lifecycle.
• Investigate liability, pursue early settlements and maintain client contact.
• Interact with IRB/ARB, obtaining assessments, awards, and fees as required.
• Maintain reserves and prepare quarterly bordereaux for insurers.
• Coordinate with solicitors on litigated cases and broker relationships.
• Prepare monthly reports and pre-renewal reviews for large clients.
• Respond to policyholder inquiries and provide clear claim guidance.
