Job summary

LivTours is seeking an experienced Guide Operations Manager to lead and scale the guide operations across regions. You will manage regional Guide Managers and local coordination teams, ensuring capacity, quality, and responsiveness to deliver exceptional experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership experience, ideally managing managers and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong project leadership and project management capability for cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability for complex operational challenges.
• Experience designing or improving processes, systems and ways of working.
• Experience planning capacity, resourcing or coverage in variable-demand operations.
• Excellent interpersonal judgement for stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial judgement evaluating costs and impact.
• Comfortable with technology, data, automation, AI and emerging tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional Guide Managers and oversee local coordination teams.
• Oversee capacity, pre-scheduling, assignment and coverage strategies for reliable operations.
• Develop guide onboarding, training, quality standards and ongoing development with Client Experience.
• Build guide engagement, communication and retention strategies.
• Lead seasonally driven fee and incentive reviews with executives for sustainability.
• Build out Guide Operations structures, processes and ways of working for scale.
• Drive cross-functional improvement projects from scoping to adoption.
• Define IT requirements and project-manage solutions with the IT team.
