Job summary

GitLab is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Representative to join our remote Sales team. You will lead initial outreach to targeted accounts, collaborating with Field and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to generate qualified meetings and pipeline for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

Our BDRs come from diverse backgrounds, with extensive onboarding and training provided.

Qualifications

Fluency in German is required.
Experience in outbound sales development roles in tech.
Strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

Execute outbound prospecting to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
Generate New Logo and Growth opportunities.
Conduct high-level discovery with target accounts to qualify opportunities.
Meet monthly and quarterly SAO targets by converting prospects to opportunities.
Research and prioritize target accounts to identify key players and events.
Execute multi-touch outreach via call, email and social to maximize engagement.
Track and report all prospecting activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build targeted lists and campaigns.
Document and improve BDR processes and mentor new hires.
