Job summary

Communicate Recruitment Solutions seeks a Finance Business Partner to support FP&A activities across manufacturing and operations. You will provide high-quality financial analysis, drive cost optimisation, and act as a trusted business partner to operational leaders and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, advanced financial modelling, and excellent communication to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or similarly fast-paced operational environment.
• Previous experience in business partnering, commercial finance, operational finance, or FP&A.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modelling capability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to operational and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the financial planning process for operational areas, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to develop realistic financial assumptions and performance targets.
• Monitor key operational drivers and analyse trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Produce detailed variance analysis, explaining differences between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support ongoing forecast revisions throughout the financial year.
