Job summary

ACCPRO partners with a global tech group to recruit a Head of FP&A, based in Ireland. This high-visibility role reports to the CFO and Head of Data, with scope to influence commercial outcomes across the business.

You will lead budgets, forecasting, and complex financial modelling, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance. Hybrid work arrangement available with one day WFH.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5 years' post-qualification FP&A experience.
• Experience in a tech/SaaS and/or PE-backed environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with large data sets and robust models.
• Excellent communication to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
• High proficiency in Excel; BI tools experience (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary partner to Group, Board and divisions to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to leadership and operational review meetings with real-time financial insight.
• Design, build and implement complex financial models to tell a story of financial performance.
• Own budgets, forecasting and reforecasting processes.
• Challenge business decisions, ensuring financial implications are understood before commitments.
• Analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure consistency of approach and continuous improvement of processes and tools.

We've partnered with a global and acquisitive tech company to recruit for aHead of FP&A. This is a high visibility role, reporting directly to an experienced CFO and Head of Data with subsequent commercial scope to make a genuine impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary partner to Group, Board and divisions in order to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders by understanding financial performance and cost drivers
• Attend and contribute to leadership and operational review meetings, providing real-time financial insight
• Design, build and implement complex financial models to tell a story of financial performance
• Ownership of budgets, forecasting and reforecasting process
• Challenge business decisions constructively, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood before commitments are made
• Analyse financial and operational data from multiple sources to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure consistency of approach and continuous improvement of processes and tools

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5 years' post-qualification experience in an FP&A, business-partnering or commercial finance role
• Experience in a tech/SaaS and/or PE-backed environment is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset i.e. comfortable working with large datasets and building models that inform decision-making
