Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering with a banking and fintech client to recruit a Program Manager based in Ireland for a fully remote role. You will define governance structures, manage multi‑project portfolios, and collaborate with executives to balance innovation with regulatory obligations in a secure, scalable digital finance environment.

This senior leadership role requires extensive program management experience, strong PMO and SAFe proficiency, and a proven ability to coordinate distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in project or program management, incl. 5+ years delivering programs in banking/fintech.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi‑project programs with regulatory requirements and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and oversee program governance structures and compliance checkpoints.
• Align multi‑project portfolios with strategy and measurable business value.
• Develop program strategies, roadmaps, budgets, milestones, and KPIs.
• Oversee concurrent projects with alignment across timelines and priorities.
• Lead and mentor project managers and cross‑functional leads (engineering, QA, cybersecurity, compliance).
• Establish best practices for program execution, agile delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor regulatory frameworks (PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, SOC 2, ISO 27001, SAMA).
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Lead executive reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Foster accountability and collaboration across distributed teams.
• Partner with C‑level execs to balance innovation with risk and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and governance.
• Coordinate cloud/DevSecOps initiatives with business alignment.
