Lever, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager for Foundations & Enablement based in Ireland. This remote leadership role guides a cross-functional team that builds the foundations enabling other squads to move quickly, securely, and consistently.

You will own people development, performance, delivery, and the technical roadmap while balancing requests from product teams. The role spans developer experience, CI/CD, security, tooling, and shared platform capabilities across frontend and backend.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in advanced software development with 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across frontend and backend disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering team focusing on delivery, people development, performance, and process improvement.
• Balance the team roadmap with prioritised requests from product teams, communicating priorities and trade-offs.
• Maintain standards for security, tooling, CI/CD, developer experience, and shared practices.
