Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an ELD Specialist based in Ireland. This fully remote role supports safe, compliant transportation operations, serving as a technical resource for drivers, dispatchers, and fleet teams to troubleshoot ELD issues and maintain Hours of Service compliance.

The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with regulatory knowledge, monitoring ELD data, generating reports for safety audits, and contributing to training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year hands-on experience with ELD systems in trucking/logistics.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA ELD regulations and Hours of Service.
• Proven troubleshooting ability to diagnose ELD issues and guide end users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Familiarity with major ELD vendors and telematics platforms is preferred.
• Experience training drivers or driver training programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for ELD hardware, software, connectivity, and related technology issues, guiding users through troubleshooting and resolution.
• Support drivers, dispatchers, and fleet managers with ELD‑related questions and ensure issues are handled promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Monitor ELD data for compliance, identify exceptions, and prepare reports required for safety audits and FMCSA requirements.
• Train drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams on ELD usage, Hours of Service requirements, electronic log maintenance, and compliance best practices.
• Communicate with ELD vendors and internal technology teams to document, elevate, and resolve recurring technical issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal and state ELD regulations and help ensure operational practices remain compliant with changing requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in ELD processes, compliance monitoring, reporting, and support workflows.
• Promote safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across transportation operations while adapting to new technologies and regulatory changes.
