Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) for Discovery & Research. You will partner with the CSOs and leadership teams to shape strategic planning, operating rhythms, workforce planning, and budget stewardship across early discovery and research programs.

You will prepare executive materials, drive cross‑functional governance, and lead post‑deal integration while advancing a culture of continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in biopharma or life sciences with drug development exposure.
• Experience partnering with executive leaders (VP/SVP) in a strategic capacity.
• Proven track record in workforce planning, budget stewardship, and post‑deal integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and executive operating rhythms across Neuroscience and Oncology Discovery.
• Oversee workforce planning, resource management, and timecard compliance.
• Manage OpEx, CRO contracts, and headcount budgeting with Finance.
• Guide post‑deal integration and cross‑functional governance with Corporate Development and R&D.
