Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director, Project Manager to serve as the COO of their oncology development programs, driving cross-functional execution from discovery through regulatory submission and launch.

You will orchestrate Core Teams across Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC/Technical Operations, Nonclinical, Medical Affairs, and Commercial, ensuring aligned timelines and budgets while accelerating patient access to therapies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical/biotechnology industries with cross-functional R&D project management leadership.
• Experience leading Oncology development programs (targeted therapies, immuno-oncology, or biologics) preferred.
• Strong ability to synthesize timelines, risks, and resources into concise executive summaries.
• Proven track record of leading without direct line authority in matrixed teams.
• Hands-on proficiency with Planisware, Smartsheet, and Oracle for scheduling, risk, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Core Teams through full lifecycle of oncology development programs.
• Partner with Project Lead to translate strategic intent into integrated development plans.
• Maintain a single source of truth across enterprise systems for timelines, risks, budgets, and FTEs.
• Own and manage program risk registers with qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Develop scenario planning and trade-off analyses for governance decisions.
• Oversee program budgets, external spend, and capacity planning in collaboration with Finance.
• Prepare executive summaries and memos for governance bodies and leadership.
