Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Business Strategy & Operations for GCDO to partner with the Head of GCDO and leadership, driving strategic alignment, governance, and operational cadence across global clinical development operations.

You will lead multi-year workforce planning, data stewardship for capacity models and budgets, and oversee due diligence, post-deal integration, and cross-functional initiatives with Finance, HR, and Communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive progressive experience in biopharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong operational, analytical, and financial planning capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with workforce planning, capacity modeling, and data governance.
• Change management and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Chief of Staff and Governance for GCDO, setting agendas and tracking execution.
• Drive multi-year workforce planning and data stewardship for capacity models and budgets.
• Manage budgeting, monthly accruals, and financial forecasting with Finance.
• Oversee due diligence, post-deal integration, and operational alignment for BD activities.
• Set annual goals and KPIs, and implement process improvements across GCDO and R&D interfaces.
• Partner with Communications to craft executive messaging and drive organizational culture.
