Job summary

DoiT International is seeking a Data Engineer to own the data layer of our integrations framework. This remote role spans the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel, with contracts open in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

You will expand vendor coverage, ensure data accuracy, and build scalable pipelines across diverse cloud billing data sources. You will work AI-augmented from day one, designing models to normalize dozens of vendor bills and provide a trustworthy spend picture for

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a data-heavy backend role with production ownership of pipelines
• Strong SQL—ability to write, read, and optimize analytical queries
• Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines with an orchestration framework (Dagster or Airflow highly desired)
• Strong Python, or another data-focused language
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse)
• Experience integrating third‑party REST APIs with pagination, rate limits, and data restatements
• AI-augmented working style—able to leverage AI across the engineering workflow
• Experience developing solutions in the cloud and using cloud services
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and motivated to contribute

Responsibilities

• Expand vendor coverage by building new integrations and keeping existing ones up to date
• Work AI-augmented across the full workflow: explore code, prototype, generate and review code, and write tests
• Ensure data correctness, handle duplication, gaps, race conditions, and negotiated rates
• Normalize vendor bills into common units, currencies, time granularity, and taxonomies
• Own ingestion pipelines orchestration, scheduling, and safe backfills
• Collaborate with product, support and engineers to identify gaps and propose work
