Job summary

DoiT International is seeking an Engineering Manager - Analytics to lead and grow a hands-on, high-impact team in a fully remote role spanning multiple regions. You will influence architectural direction, drive delivery, and mentor engineers while maintaining high standards and shipping valuable cloud-based analytics capabilities.

You will work with cross-functional partners to align engineering efforts with business goals, and you will champion AI-enhanced workflows that push the team's craft

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management Roles where you actively coded as part of responsibilities.
• Hands-on, real-life experience building cloud-based SaaS products - running services in production on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and owning availability, cost, and the customer-facing surface.
• API-first mindset, products are built not just for end user experience through UI, they are fully functional and available through APIs, so both humans and agents can interact with the platform.
• Strong background in databases, SQL, query optimization, and BigQuery.
• A track record of taking an engineering team and visibly transforming it - measurable improvements in delivery velocity, technical quality, or team caliber.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, owning both its delivery and its development.
• Drive the team's architectural and technical design decisions in partnership with senior ICs.
• Uphold engineering standards through thorough, constructive pull-request review and a healthy release process.
• Work AI-augmented and lead an AI-augmented team, applying sharp judgment about where AI helps and maintaining quality for shipped work.
• Own the team's commitments - what was promised, when, and the quality bar.
