Job summary

Grafana Labs in a fully remote role is seeking an AI Software Engineer with strong software engineering background and a passion for experimentation. You’ll design, develop, test, and ship AI-powered features that handle large datasets, while expanding analytics-focused AI agents to assist users with information retrieval.

You’ll work in a fast-moving skunkworks initiative, wearing multiple hats, and collaborate across teams to ship high-impact capabilities, with autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade software used by real users.
• Hands-on with LLMs, generation AI, or AI-powered features.
• Experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with observability tools to monitor system behavior.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver AI features to help users discover, organize, and optimize access to large datasets.
• Prototype, test, and validate with real users; ship AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate agentic components with internal tools.
