Job summary

Skillwell is looking for an Agile Coach to guide Engineering teams in delivering value through modern software engineering and lean practices. This hands-on role focuses on collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

You will work with Domain Experts, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to improve flow, reduce feedback cycles, and align business goals with delivery. Strong coaching and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding teams through planning and retrospectives.
• Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, XP and Lean.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD and test automation.
• Track record using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design is a plus.
• Background in software engineering and modern development practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team events across Skillwell to grow Agile capability.
• Support Lean Product Development for value delivery with short feedback loops.
• Promote BDD and Example Mapping to define clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensure Product Backlog is well-defined and ready for planning.
• Help teams become self-organizing and high-performing with shared ownership.
• Define and track performance metrics using DORA and SPACE.
• Foster XP practices like TDD, CI, and pair programming across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by addressing bottlenecks in delivery.
