Enable Ireland is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a relief post in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. The role focuses on assisting individuals with disabilities in daily living, mobility, and participation in activities across day services, community, and online settings.

The successful candidate will help develop training and employment opportunities and promote greater inclusion. The post requires FETAC Level 5 in Social Care (or progress toward it), readiness to start immediately, and a commitment

Formación

• FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Social Care or equivalent required.
• Undertaking FETAC Level 5 Certificate with 2–3 modules completed is acceptable.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities in employment, voluntary or personal capacity.
• Experience providing personal care to adults.
• Experience in social/leisure settings for adults.
• Experience in community/non-centred settings.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance.
• Experience positioning and clamping wheelchairs in vehicles.
