Job summary

Fry & Brown is recruiting a solicitor to join its commercial legal team in Dublin. You will advise on UK and EU regulation affecting the wider group, embed regulatory requirements into risk and governance, and support strategic change initiatives.

Reporting to the head of the team, you will help build a focused legal operations function around AI, processes and law firm engagement, with hybrid working three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE, ideally from a law firm, and financial services/asset management experience.
• Working knowledge of MiFID, UCITS and AIFM, and experience advising on regulatory change and consultation responses.
• Exposure to commercial contracts, outsourcing, operational resilience and consumer duty is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on UK and EU regulation affecting the wider group and embed new requirements into the business, risk framework and governance.
• Advise on complex change initiatives, including group structure and regulatory authorisations, horizon scan for regulatory developments.
• Represent the firm on industry bodies and help build a legal operations function covering AI, processes and law firm engagement.
