Job summary

Onnec, a leading IT components distributor in Ireland, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue across Munster and the West of Ireland. This field-based role requires building relationships with resellers, MSPs, and commercial clients while promoting our IT hardware portfolio.

You will travel to customer sites, manage pipelines in CRM, and work with the Head of Sales to align product availability with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales within IT hardware, distribution, or technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IT components and solutions.
• Experience working with channel partners such as resellers and MSPs.

Responsibilities

• Promote our full range of IT component products, including servers, networking equipment, storage and peripherals
• Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets, growing the market share within the region.
• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts using CRM systems.
• Build strong relationships with vendor partners and internal teams, stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activity.
• Working alongside the Head of Sales to ensure the available product portfolio is aligned to customer needs.
• Drive strategic sales planning, account expansion and high-impact commercial initiatives
• Act as the point of contact and escalation to handle customers’ individual needs
• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Show initiative in driving sales
• Maintain strong commercial oversight, understanding margin, forecasting, and complex sales cycles.
• Represent the company at trade events, customer meetings, and industry exhibitions.
