Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Regional Planning Analyst to support development planning across CDS and Customer Operations. You will respond to planning inquiries, review proposals, and coordinate with planning authorities to ensure timely, compliant connections.

Reporting to the Development Planning Regional Technical Lead, you will help manage Section 34 matters, pre-connection activities, and related processes within statutory deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification and/or planning/engineering accreditation is desirable.
• Experience in planning and environment related areas is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil statutory obligations under planning acts for development-related applications.
• Manage end-to-end case work for connection and developer services planning cases.
• Provide planning input for Pre-Connection Enquiries and Connection Applications.
• Conduct technical planning assessments for EIAR Scoping, Section 34, and other developments.
• Maintain relationships with Planning Authorities nationwide.
• Oversee protocols for planning referrals and ensure timely delivery.
