Job summary

GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction is seeking an experienced M&E commercial professional to take full ownership of a growing regional portfolio in the Cork, Kerry and Limerick area. You will lead site-based commercial teams and oversee procurement, cost reporting and change control on complex M&E packages for major international clients.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in M&E or Building Services contracting.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data centre, or regulated sectors.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial ownership of a portfolio of M&E projects across multiple regional sites.
• Manage and mentor site-based commercial teams, ensuring consistency of approach across the portfolio.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, packages and commercial performance across all active projects.
• Prepare and present cost reports, valuations and cash flow forecasts to senior management.
• Lead on the preparation and negotiation of variations and change control across complex M&E scopes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor project profitability and commercial risk across the regional portfolio.
• Travel regularly between sites to provide direct commercial support and oversight.

Now overseeing a regional portfolio valued at approximately €80M across multiple active sites, the business is investing in strengthening its regional commercial leadership, creating a newly created opportunity for an experienced M&E commercial professional to take real ownership of this growing portfolio.

You will take commercial ownership of a portfolio of complex M&E packages delivered across multiple sites in the Cork, Kerry and Limerick region, working on technically demanding pharmaceutical and semiconductor facilities for major international clients.

This is a role that requires genuine regional mobility, with regular travel between sites to provide hands-on commercial leadership and support to project teams. In return, you will be given significant autonomy and a direct line of influence over how commercial matters are managed across your portfolio.

What You Need

• Strong commercial experience within Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services contracting
• Experience within pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data centre or other highly regulated / mission-critical sectors preferred
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the Cork, Kerry and Limerick region
• Full clean driving licence
