Job summary

Randox Laboratories in Dublin is seeking a Regional Laboratory Manager to lead the end-to-end performance of the laboratory, ensuring turnaround times, QC, and cost efficiency while maintaining compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 15189, GCP and MHRA standards.

This role requires a Biomedical Science or Life Science degree, diagnostic testing experience, strong leadership, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Immunology or Life Science.
• Experience in diagnostic testing.
• Previous laboratory experience.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end performance of the laboratory.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of Team Leads.
• Ensure ISO 17025, ISO 15189, GCP and MHRA compliance.
• Actively seek out new technologies and smarter processes.
• Oversee staff management, appraisals and training.
• Ensure sample integrity at all times.
• Write new Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Ensure clients receive the best possible service.
