Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland seeks a Regional KYC Operations Manager to lead AML/KYC service delivery from Limerick, overseeing onboarding, periodic reviews, and client exits. The role requires senior leadership with strong governance, risk management, and regulatory expertise to ensure global standards are met while guiding local teams.

You will partner with Compliance, Risk and Legal to support audits and regulatory examinations, manage workload, and drive continuous improvement in KYC

Qualifications

• 5+ years AML/KYC ops experience in financial services.
• Deep AML/KYC regulatory knowledge and global frameworks.
• Strong understanding of operating models and first line risk.
• Senior leadership with people management experience.
• Experience engaging with auditors and compliance stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strategic thinker with execution capability.
• College degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for KYC operations in Limerick, aligned with global AML strategy and risk appetite.
• Act as the accountable owner for AML/KYC services delivered from Limerick with governance and controls.
• Oversee end-to-end KYC delivery: onboarding, periodic reviews, event-driven reviews, client exits.
• Ensure high-quality KYC reviews across teams meeting SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain AML risk accountability and escalate issues as needed.
• Support regulatory change and ensure timely adoption across KYC processes.
• Lead, develop and mentor KYC leaders; build leadership pipeline.
• Represent Limerick AML in global governance forums and regulatory initiatives.
