Job summary

Northern Trust in Limerick is seeking a KYC Periodic Review Team Lead to direct the end-to-end KYC operations within the CoE, overseeing CDD and EDD to ensure outputs are timely, accurate and compliant with AML/KYC policies. The role emphasises strong 1LOD controls and effective issue management.

You will lead a team, manage risks, and work with QA, Training and Governance to align with enterprise standards, driving continuous improvement and regulatory adherence across KYC activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and customer due diligence requirements.
• Experience in KYC/AML operations within financial services.
• Demonstrated people management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage risk, issues, and regulatory deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day KYC operations within the KYC CoE, ensuring timely and accurate CDD/EDD outputs.
• Embed 1LOD controls across KYC processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Identify, assess and manage AML/KYC risks; log and remediate issues.
• Deliver remediation actions from audits, exams, and reviews.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Provide operational updates and MI to senior management.
