Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Regional EHS Manager to lead health, safety and environmental standards across Europe, with a strong emphasis on travel to Portugal, Scandinavia and wider Europe.

The role combines strategic development of EHS frameworks with hands-on site coaching, audits, and risk assessments across multiple international sites, reporting to the COO. A relevant degree and professional qualification are preferred, with NEBOSH or equivalent highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in aggregates, quarrying, tarmac, reinforced concrete frames or precast concrete sectors.
• Knowledge of temporary works and risks in batching/manufacturing operations.
• A relevant degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• NEBOSH, CMIOSH, CSP, CIH or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, auditing, inspections and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and defining EHS standards across European operations.
• Supporting mobile batching plants, precast operations and on-site manufacturing.
• Reviewing temporary works associated with batching-plant installations.
• Assessing and developing the training and competency matrix for operational teams.
• Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments across multiple international sites.
