Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd., headquartered in Dublin, seeks an experienced Regional EHS Manager to support expanding European operations. Based in a major European city, the role requires regular travel to project sites and oversight of safety systems across multiple projects.

You will ensure compliance with EHS legislation, lead safety initiatives, and drive a proactive safety culture while coordinating with project teams and subcontractors across Europe.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification is essential
• At least 7 years’ EHS management on large construction projects
• Experience in data centre construction is desirable
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication, reporting and IT skills
• Experience managing EHS reporting systems and documentation
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Willingness to travel across Europe regularly

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Safety Management System across multiple projects.
• Monitor adherence to environmental, health and safety legislation and requirements.
• Coordinate method statements, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Support project teams in delivering works per execution plans.
• Lead safety observations, interventions, audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain statutory inspection registers and ensure regulatory compliance of plant and equipment.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across projects and functions.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with EHS policies and standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training initiatives.
• Lead or support accident and incident investigations and reporting.
