Job summary

Cliff at Lyons is seeking an experienced Reception Supervisor to join our luxury countryside retreat on a full-time, on-site basis near Celbridge. The role focuses on supervising the Reception Team, managing reservations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a similar role, flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, and experience with HotSoft software. Training and development are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a similar role but training will be provided.
• Must be fully flexible & available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Reservations emails and general Hotel inquiries.
• Supervise Reception Team and assist Front Office Manager in all duties.
• Manage room allocations in line with guest preferences and special requests.
• Process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations in the hotel system (HotSoft).
• Ensure all reservations are entered correctly with complete guest details.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival.
• Handle customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Flexible working hours within the Reception Department.
