Job summary

Cliff at Lyons is seeking an experienced Reception Supervisor to join our luxury countryside retreat. This full-time role focuses on supervising the Reception Team, managing bookings, and delivering outstanding guest service in line with our award-winning hospitality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a similar hotel setting, excellent English, and familiarity with HotSoft. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar hotel role; training provided.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Reservations emails and general Hotel inquiries
• Supervise Reception Team and assist Front Office Manager in all duties
• Manage room allocations in line with guest preferences and special requests
• Process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations in the hotel system (HotSoft)
• Ensure all reservations are entered correctly with complete guest details
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival
• Handle customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate department
