Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland is seeking a Senior Permanent Way Engineer to lead the Track (P-Way) discipline across major rail infrastructure projects. You will provide technical leadership on track design and rail corridor infrastructure, coordinating with civil, structural, systems and geotechnical teams.

You will mentor Track Engineers, drive safe, efficient, and sustainable rail solutions, support bids and client engagement, and contribute to the growth of our Track engineering capability within

Qualifications

• Strong experience in railway track and permanent way engineering.
• Experience leading track design and rail infrastructure projects.
• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, ICE, IET or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Track (P-Way) discipline within our Ireland Rail business.
• Provide technical leadership across track engineering and rail corridor infrastructure projects.
• Act as Track Lead on major rail programmes and multidisciplinary transportation projects.
• Lead the development of safe, efficient and sustainable rail infrastructure solutions.
• Act as Engineering Manager on select schemes.
• Coordinate track design activities with civil, structural, systems and geotechnical disciplines.
• Support the continued growth and development of our Track engineering capability.
• Mentor and develop Track Engineers and future technical leaders.
• Support bids, client engagement and technical excellence initiatives.
• Promote innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Rail business.
