Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland is seeking a Rail Systems Lead to provide technical leadership across signalling, telecommunications, electrification and systems assurance for major rail programmes. You will lead the Rail Systems discipline within our Ireland Rail business, coordinate interfaces between rail systems and infrastructure, and mentor a growing team.

A Chartered Engineer with a degree in Engineering is expected, along with strong collaboration and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

Strong systems engineering and integration experience in rail or complex projects.
Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinating interfaces.
Degree in Engineering or related field; Chartered Engineer status preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Rail Systems discipline within the Ireland Rail business.
Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, integration and assurance.
Act as a technical lead on major rail and transportation projects.
Coordinate interfaces between rail systems, infrastructure and operations.
Support delivery of rail solutions across light rail, metro and heavy rail.
Mentor and develop the Rail Systems team through coaching and leadership.
Support bids and client engagements to shape future opportunities.
Promote technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
