Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group in Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Discipline Lead to provide technical leadership across signalling, telecommunications, electrification, OT and systems assurance on major rail programmes. You will lead the Rail Systems discipline in the Ireland Rail business, coordinating interfaces between rail systems, infrastructure and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering and systems integration experience within rail or complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinating complex interfaces.
• Degree qualified in Engineering (Level 8/9) and Chartered Engineer status.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rail Systems discipline within our Ireland Rail business.
• Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, systems integration and systems assurance activities.
• Act as a technical lead on major rail and transportation projects.
• Coordinate interfaces between rail systems, infrastructure and operational requirements.
• Support the delivery of rail solutions across light rail, metro and heavy rail environments.
• Mentor and develop the Rail Systems team through coaching and technical leadership.
• Support bids and client engagements, shaping future opportunities for the business.
• Promote technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
