Job summary

WSP in Ireland is seeking a Design Coordinator to support Senior Design Coordinators and the wider Design & Engineering team. You will help ensure coordinated design across major infrastructure contracts, overseeing design quality, safety, and compliance across packages and interfaces.

You will collaborate with integration and stakeholder teams to ensure timely, compliant design deliverables while fostering a strong safety-in-design culture and high-performance execution across projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in design of major infrastructure projects including rail and heavy civils.
• Experience leading discipline engineering teams during design phases.
• Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary deliverables across organisations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with design development of station packages across contracts.
• Collaborate with integration managers to oversee contractor coordination and integration obligations.
• Coordinate input from Design and Engineering with stakeholders and statutory bodies.
• Support in reviewing consultant designs for compliance and constructability.
• Promote best-for-programme design coordination across interfaces.
• Assist in establishing quality management systems for design processes.
