NHS Highland Radiology Booking Service is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and patient-focused Booking Officer to join our busy team. The post holder will provide a high-quality, efficient and responsive booking service to patients across a wide range of Radiology specialities and modalities.

The role involves managing referrals, arranging and re-arranging appointments, maintaining accurate patient information and providing clear and appropriate appointment and examination instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or healthcare experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide a high-quality, efficient and responsive booking service to patients across Radiology specialties and modalities.
• Manage referrals and arrange or rearrange appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient information and provide clear appointment and examination instructions.
• Perform Radiology reception duties as the first point of contact for patients (face-to-face and telephone).
• Work with clinical and administrative colleagues to maximise available capacity and ensure a positive patient experience.
